I have a MSc in Library Science from City University London and I've spent the past 8 years working in Higher Education in the UK. I've taught students of all levels information literacy skills and I am a Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA). My current role as Faculty Librarian supporting Health and Medical Sciences involves varied work from faculty liasion and collections development to Open Research advocacy and systematic and scoping review methodology instruction.
As someone who considers themselves a lifelong learner, I have several hobbies I love doing deep dives into. I'll talk your ear off about my favourite oolong teas, what yarns I love to knit with, and what my latest addition to my houseplant collection is. I've been known to nerd out over weird local folklore and frequently spend my weekends with my head burried in a good book.
